BroadBand Net
BroadbandNet is an independent carrier that owns and operates it's own IP network throughout Western Australia using a combination of state of the art technologies from a number of wireless manufacturers including Airspan and Motorola.
BroadbandNet have recently signed an agreement with Tuaropaki Trust launching the company into the National ISP arena. The exclusive satellite agreement with Tuaropaki has seen BroadbandNet to be one of only a few Carriers in Australia able to offer access to their own high speed wireless backbone network as well as the flexibility of deploying satellite services where their wireless network is not immediately available.
Currently BroadbandNet has points of presence throughout the CBD and in regional West Australian covering the southern corridor from Albany and Bunbury, Eastern Wheat Belt from Toodyay, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton and the North Midland areas from Wongan Hills to Mullewa and recently the Peel region including Boddington providing high speed wireless broadband faster than standard ADSL. BroadbandNet has more than 60,000sq kms of coverage on their own network and over 4,000kms of wireless backbone throughout regional Western Australia, this coverage is growing daily with the BroadbandNet team dedicated to providing a true alternative network in the State.
